CARDS HOT DOG HUMANITY

C2E2 2018

For Cards Against Humanity's first ever booth at hometown show C2E2, I led our team's execution of a uniquely Chicago booth theme: hot dogs. Our goal was to draw attention to Cards Against Humanity's regular local events, and reinforce that we're a company that cares about our city and what happens here.

The Wooden Hot Dog

Branded with Cards Against Humanity's signature cynicsim,  This 5-foot wooden hot dog prop was the booth's centerpiece. It had a crowd from open to close each day, and was featured in countless fan photographs. Here are my favorites.

Free Okay Hot Dogs

The most insane and ambitious aspect of the booth, We decided to give away "Free Okay Hot Dogs." (they were half-size, and only came with mustard.) I secured specialty "pup" hot dogs and buns from Chicago's Vienna Beef and worked with local hot dog celebrity Hot Doug and chef Aaron McKay to serve 4500 dogs over three days. The line to be served conveniently wrapped around the game sales area in our booth.

Cards Against Humanity Loves Chicago

Cards Against Humanity's Chicago connection goes deeper than an appreciation of encased meats. We created a nifty guide to our favorite spots in the city that we gave to everyone who stopped by the booth, and let them know about our regular comedy shows and game nights around the city.

Hot Dog Pedestal

We came up with this idea last minute and it was my favorite part of the booth. Everyone in the hot dog line walked past it.
